The three-layer co extrusion blown film has been widely used in food packaging, such as slicing, vegetables, meat, beverages, canned goods, fast food, and other packaging. 1. Differences in the number of layers


In a single-layer co extrusion blown film machine, only one type of raw material is heated and compressed into a thin film. In a three-layer co extrusion blown film machine, three different raw materials are heated and extruded simultaneously in the same machine, forming a three-layer thin film. These three layers of plastic film typically consist of an intermediate layer sandwiched between two outer layers. This intermediate layer is usually a hard or high-density polymer used to enhance the strength and durability of the film.


2. Product performance differences


The films produced by single-layer co extrusion blow molding machines are usually not as diverse and have better performance as those produced by three-layer co extrusion blow molding machines. The film produced by the three-layer co extrusion blown film machine has a separate selection of materials for each layer. Different materials can be selected according to different needs, such as polyethylene, polyethylene ester, polypropylene, etc., so that the produced film has moisture-proof, anti-static, and fresh-keeping properties.


In addition, the three-layer co extrusion film blowing machine will inject gas in the manufacturing process to form a layer of foam, which has good thermal insulation performance, which cannot be achieved through the single-layer co extrusion film blowing machine.


3. Production efficiency


The three-layer co extrusion blown film machine has higher production speed and efficiency than the single-layer co extrusion blown film machine. Due to its ability to process three materials simultaneously, it can produce more plastic films in a shorter amount of time. At the same time, the produced film has higher quality and higher yield.


The principle of a three-layer co extrusion blown film machine is to simultaneously extrude three different polymer materials through an extruder to form a three-layer structure. After passing through equipment such as a die head, gear pump, and pressure roller, it is extruded into a continuous, flat, and uniformly thick thin film. The production process of the three-layer co extrusion blown film machine is divided into three parts: extrusion layer, composite layer, and winding layer.


The cooling tower is a very important component throughout the entire production process. It ensures the control of the width and thickness of the film through high-speed cooling, and enhances the surface quality and printing performance of the film. After completion, the film roll is sent back to the winding machine for cutting and coiling. The final product can be packaged and stored according to different specifications and needs.
