Common faults and causes of Dalian plastic blow molding machines

A blow molding machine is a device that melts plastic particles and blows them into a film. It mainly consists of two parts: blowing film and winding. The function of the winding part is to roll the blown film into a roll, making the film smooth and wrinkle free, with neat edges. The film on the roll should be moderately elastic to prevent stretching deformation and ensure quality. Therefore, constant tension control must be used during winding. At present, torque motors are mainly used in industry to achieve the above control, but there are some drawbacks in the use process, such as manual adjustment, inconvenient operation, large heat generated by long-term operation of torque motors, easy damage to controllers, and low reliability.

For blow molding machines, due to the inherent characteristics of their product technology, plastic blow molding machines generally operate non-stop 24 hours a day. Full load operation of the film blowing equipment causes significant damage to the body. If the film blowing machine is not maintained and serviced in a timely manner, it will directly affect the service life, precision, and quality of the film products. Below are the common faults and causes of Dalian plastic blow molding machines.

Difficulty in drawing molds:

(1) Improper temperature control of the machine head: The machine head temperature should be adjusted appropriately.

(2) Uneven discharge of the mold: The gap between the molds should be adjusted while adjusting the temperature of the machine head connector appropriately.

(3) The molten material contains impurities of coke: purify the raw materials and clean the machine head and screw.

(4) Improper control of extrusion process conditions: The process conditions should be adjusted appropriately.

Flower on the surface of the film:

(1) If the temperature of the body or nose is too low and the melting material is poorly plasticized, it is necessary to increase the temperature of the body or nose appropriately.

(2) The screw speed is too fast: slow it down appropriately.

(3) Screw temperature too high or too low: By adjusting the flow rate of the cooling medium inside the screw, the screw temperature is controlled within an appropriate temperature range.
